Today we want to talk about the four things your 2022 business plan must have inside of it.


Why do we need to do a business plan? If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. If you don't know where you need to go, if you don't know how you're going to get there, and if you don't even know why you want to get there, how are you ever going to get there?

Number one, you need to make sure that your plan starts with your vision, your mission, and your big why.


If you don't know exactly why you're getting there, or the reasons that you want to accomplish the things that you're setting out to get in next year's business plan, you're going to fall short, you're going to lose steam, and you're going to not have the energy on those tough days to keep going.


Make sure you know what your vision is, know what your why is, and then know what your mission is, the thing you're going out to the marketplace and you're trying to accomplish for your clients and support your goals.


Second thing is, you really want to make sure that you're clear on making sure that the transactions that you want to do next year support your financial goals.
If you don't have that broken down and you can't do the math to get to the amount of transactions you need to get to your financial goals, you'll never be able to get there.


Third thing is, you need to make sure that you have your daily actions in line.
Know exactly what those things are that can get you to your transaction goals. Make sure you know what you need to do today and how that rolls up to your big picture goal.


The fourth thing that you need is a budget.
It's not what you make, it's what you keep. First of all, start with your personal budget. What does it cost to run your lifestyle?


Make sure you know what you're responsible for, what costs are going to be incurred on a weekly, monthly basis so that you can figure that into your overall picture and what you need to do.


One bonus, it'd be to make sure you have a marketing plan.
Make sure you have some way, especially in this world where we need to be in touch with our past clients and our sphere of influence, we need to be communicating to them.
