Hey guys, it's Jeff Bonk from eXp Realty and Homes By Bonk here in Hoboken and today, we're going to talk about the CRM that we've been using for over 10 years that has taken me from a brand new agent to a team leader doing over 200 transactions a year now. So let's dive into that so you can learn what you need to grow your business and to explode if you're a brand new agent or a team leader that's trying to grow in scale and beyond.

No matter which CRM you are using to drive your business in the right direction every day….

So first, just back to the basics, it's not about the CRM.It is not about the bells and whistles. It's not about doing every little thing that you need. It's about a CRM that you just do some research, figure out the best one is. You need to be able to live out of that database. Make sure you don't ever forget to follow up with the client, a past client, a sphere of influence person that is referring you business. Make sure you put birthdays in there, dates, important things that you're going to continue to follow up with your whole world over and over and over and be consistent with it and that's what will incrementally grow your business every year. These top 3 things are must-haves to ensure a bright future for your business.

1️⃣ A ᴠᴇʀʏ sɪᴍᴘʟᴇ ᴡɪᴛʜ ᴄʟᴇᴀɴ ᴜsᴇʀ ɪɴᴛᴇʀғᴀᴄᴇ Some CRMs out there have a lot of bells and whistles but they are so confusing just to open up and look at. They're too busy, they're too distracting and they keep you away from your core things that you really need to be focused on to drive your business in the right direction.

2️⃣ Sᴛʀᴇᴀᴍʟɪɴᴇᴅ ᴘʀᴏᴄᴇssᴇs ᴛʜʀᴏᴜɢʜ ᴀᴜᴛᴏᴍᴀᴛɪᴏɴ There needs to be emails and texts and phone calls that are going out without you having to actually execute it. Especially the brand new leads that are just coming in that you don't have a relationship with. It also needs to have automations that you can put for someone's birthday to pop up every single year and remind you to make a phone call to them or somebody that you want to stay in touch with every quarter. You need to have an automatic tag or task or something that keeps them top of mind for you. So it needs to have some sense of automation. It doesn't need to be the most complex ones but it needs to have something that you can use to base your core activities off of.

3️⃣ Iɴᴛᴇʀɴᴇᴛ Dᴀᴛᴀ Exᴄʜᴀɴɢᴇ (IDX) The last thing that is super important, especially in the real estate world is you need an IDX feed and you need to have a smart enough system that tells you what your leads and prospects are doing on your IDX feed and on your website. So you need to have all the listings from the MLS pushed through to your website, which is what an IDX feed is. So those are top three things guys, but the most important thing is having a CRM.

And that is the number one thing that I know anyone who has success in this business has had that at the core of their daily practice, in the core of their business.
